Episode 27 - 03/11/96

This week on Late to the Nitro Party we barley squeak in our recording for the week to bring you WCW Nitro from 03/11/96.  This show starts off with a match between Jim Duggan and The Giant that involves a heavy amount of duck tape.  Next we have the Steiners make their return to WCW and have their Nitro debut against the Road Warriors in a great match! Luger takes on Alex Wright for the TV Championship.  Yes, Luger is the champ now and we talk about that. Then, in the main event, we get one heck of a cluster that is exhausting to try and follow.  A lumberjack strap match with Hogan, Savage, and the Bootyman vs. Flair, AA, and Kevin Sullivan!  Try really hard to not loose your mind with this one.

Episode 26 - 02/26/96

On this episode of Late to the Nitro Party we will be watching and reviewing WCW Nitro from 02/26/96.  We kick off the show with Sting vs. Big Bubba in a decent but generic match.  Some shenanigans then go down involving the Road Warriors and Sting & Luger.  “Fake Warrior” is up against Luger afterword.  Sting gets mad at Luger and loses his mind.  Harlem Heat take on the Road Warriors.  Then in the main we have the “Bootymaniacs” vs. the Horsemen in a match that involves big boots, beautiful women, and handcuffs….but not in a sexual way. (Apologize for any audio issues.  This was thrown together as a last stitch effort just before we watched the debacle that was SummerSlam 2016).....Enjoy!

Episode 25 - 02/19/96

This week of rasslin goodness starts the way last week ended.  We review WCW Nitro from 02/19/96 where the show kicks off with a Hogan vs. Arn Anderson rematch.  This match involves some confusing run ins but who's trying to figure this stuff out anyways?  Loch ness then wrestles, if that's what you want to call it, Alex Wright.  We have the Nitro debut of Fit Finlay, then known as "The Belfast Bruiser.  He and his glorious mullet will take on Brad Armstrong and his equally glorious mullet!  The main event puts Savage against Flair.  This match involves all kinds of nonsensical interference and ends with Ed Leslie as "The Booty Man" channeling the gods and saving the day.  At least we get some more antics at the announcer booth at the end which has Hogan really trying to get over Leslie's Booty gimmick.

Episode 24 - 02/12/96

On this episode of Late to the Nitro party we take a look at WCW Nitro from 02/12/1996.  This Nitro immediately follows the spectacle that was SuperBrawl 6.  We will see Randy Savage take on Hugh Morrus in what would have been a World Title match for some reason had Savage retained the night before.  Not sure how Hugh was given that shot but in the end it did not matter.  They start talking about NASCAR and their new car they sponsor because they are over the monster truck thing apparently.  Riggs tries desperately to make the newest Dungeon of Doom goon look good in the ring.  Mean Gene mistakenly lets Miss Elizabeth talk into a mic.  Konnan then defends his US Title (yes he is the US champ now) against Dangerous Devon Storm (who you may recognize).  Hogan is in the main event then we get an amusing end at the announcers table.  We hope this makes your viewing of the episode much more enjoyable!

Episode 23 - 02/05/96

On this exciting episode of Late to the Nitro Party we discuss WCW Monday Nitro from 02/05/96.  We are greeted by Raggedy Ann Pepe on the announce team.  Our first match puts Macho Man against Chris Benoit.  Benoit precedes to slam his skull against several things including a nasty slam against the guardrail, and later, Savage's elbow.  This ends in Hogan getting involved of course.  We then get Arn and Pillman vs Sullivan and Hugh Morris.  This match involves a special guest with a broom!. Flair takes on Bagwell.  Then the main event puts Luger and Sting against the Road Warriors for the tag straps.  Watch..Listen..Enjoy!
